A major number of tests have revealed the indifference of my behaviour to being an extrovert or introvert from which I could realise that it was possible for me to adopt different behaviours on the basis of the situation. When I was required to act sociably I put on an extrovert mask while I hid it in those situations where I felt it was best to be an introvert. While working in a group it is quite obvious that there are people of different characteristics and behaviours and as a senior in the team it was required that I was to understand and analyse their behaviour and styles of working. It was quite effective in revealing the real behavioural and personality traits of the individual and subsequently assigning them tasks, which I feel is one of the reasons why our team was able to taste success in the project.
In short I believe that these tests are a real eye opener to the internal character of a person and in order to know the true self one needs to take tests of this kind essentially. These theories shall also help in understanding the people around you and why they behave in certain manners in various circumstances and probable even why people behave differently in different situations. The individual differences in the behavioural patterns of an individual is referred to as personality and is focussed on understanding the differences in individual characteristics like sociability and also the person as a whole by assembling various parts of the behaviour.
