Bauby use to travel the places he wished to go in reality through his imagination and enjoyed being there as if he was there in real life. He even was with his beloved in his imagination by lying next to her. Bauby was fed intravenously but he enjoyed delectable dishes in his imagination by preparing them himself and by eating them   (Warriner, 2007). I was very motivated towards life as I was moving ahead in reading the novel. I was getting aware of the importance of human life and the various gifts which we have received from god and life. This story was giving me a simple message that every moment of life is important as no one knows about the very next moment (Dudzinski, 2001). That single moment has the power to change our lives in a positive and negative way. This story slowly but positively changed my way of thinking towards life. When I read this novel I was quite young  and started reading it just for passing my time but after  reading  few pages I felt as if  something  is changing within me. In few days only I started looking towards life in a different way and was more responsible towards my responsibilities and my relationships with my family and friends.
