Growing up, I was under the impression that assessing people would be easy task. I was always focused on the technical part of the education and did not think much about how people need different motivations to perform. However, this changed when I was doing my part-time job. I was working as a barista when I joined initially. I was given supervisor role to manage the people. It was during this time that I realized that managing people is hard even in a small coffee shop.
