There are different theories proposed by philosophers over centuries to determine the concept of soul and the concept of the body or soma. Many theorists claim that mind to be an immaterial soul and that it has no bounds. The concepts of dualism, Cartesian Theory, single state mind theories profess mind to be immaterial which seems hard to believe. It has been proven that the functioning of mind is according to the mechanical principles of the body owing to that fact that it has been proven.Other theories just seem unsettling and uncanny from my individual perspective. The notion of this research is to profess the functioning of the mind is related to the functions of the mechanical body. There is no proof to say mind is immaterial.

The proponents for the mind as an immaterial soul concept argue that all the functions of the mind, intuitions are not confined to the principles of mechanical mind. They equate the mind and the machine is that is the case. They say it is because of the complexities of the human mind, it has so far been impossible to create a thinking artificial mind.The philosophers like Descartes (1596-1650) speak of the concept that mind follows the principles of the soul. According to the philosophers the mind is not confined to the principles of mechanics. They believe that the mind becomes a robot. The mind has emotions due to the functioning’s of the different parts of the brain. The philosophers argue that not every phenomenon has a reason and some feelings have no rational explanation. The modern day philosophers argue that mind might follow some mechanical principles of the body but intuitive feelings has no rational explanation.
