His third book “Why is sex fun” was published in 1997, his fourth book “Collapse: How societies choose to fail or succeed” was published in 2005 and his recent book “The world until yesterday” was established in 2012. His most famous book Guns, Germs and Steel is considered as a land mark book and it won the best Pulitzer price that became the best seller and also was filmed by national geographic for PBS. The popularity of this book can be noted by the fact that this book is the most widely read book all over the world. This book had to be the best seller because of its popularity and interest people showed upon this book. The main theme of this book has taken categorization and many shapes (Dilling, 123). These themes revolve around the geographic success or failures, developments and progression of the different civilizations and race vs. the conquest. There are no main characters of this book because this book revolves around history and human society that has been present throughout this time. Students are assigned to read this book in their history courses because this book is all about the different faces and societal changes that have been present all these years. This could be expressed by the covering of this book that details about the ancient war themes where a battle situation is depicted in the form of an image. Covering of the book is good and gives you the feeling of book and not a novel. The genre of this book is nonfiction as the stories covered in this book are reality.
