全球旅游业迅速经历了发展(Baloglu,S.& mcclearly k . w . 1999)泰国也被一个注册的国家相当大的增长的国家以及国际游客总数(Balogh P等,2007)。分析,超过80%游客感兴趣的自然观光和自然景点。在泰国最喜欢旅游的地方是自然景点像达鲁岛国家公园,皮皮岛,西密兰群岛等文化遗产等地,宏伟的宫殿等。在过去几十年旅游业发挥了至关重要的作用在泰国经济以不同的方式,现在泰国每年提供约500万游客,已成为东南亚旅游得分最高的国家之一。旅游目的地,吸引世界各地的人,包括基于自然的目的地,历史古迹,海滨,地方文化遗产,旅游友好沉积,泰国菜等等(陈,C和蔡,D . 2007)。
This study demonstrates the development of tourism industry of Thailand and Malaysia (Brunei) and analyses the major factors that have influenced its development in these two regions. Tourism has become a major source of economic establishment for different nations although it is increasing the issues of environment. Along with these points few other aspects such as geographical features, trends of tourism, human geography would be discussed in this paper.
Tourism industries have rapidly gone through developments across the globe (Baloglu, S., & McCleary, K. W. 1999) Thailand has also been a nation that registered a considerable growth in the total number of national as well as international visitors (Balogh, P et al, 2007). It has been analysed that more than 80% visitors are interested in natural sightseeing and natural attractions. Most preferred tourist places in Thailand are natural attraction like Ko Tarutao, Ko Phi Phi, Similan Islands etc and cultural heritage places such as Ayuthaya, Grand Palace etc. In the past few decades tourism industry has played a vital role in the Thailand economy in different ways, now Thailand has accommodates around 5 million tourists per annum, which has become one of the highest tourist score for Southeast Asia. Tourist destinations that attract people across world which include nature based destinations, historical sites, sea beaches, places of cultural heritage, tourist’s friendly deposition, Thai cuisine etc (Chen, C and Tsai, D. 2007).
