A SRGDI profile with one or more very low preferences indicates that there is a clear preference for tasks that one prefers or do not prefer to carry out when working with others. A team member that has a very low preference for thinking or for people might not work well with people that have a very high preference for the same. In this context it is advised that the person works well with others. Researchers have indicated that it is only when people work together that effective results might be obtained. While this is true of any sector, it is even so in the tourism sector.
The results also indicate that I am a moderate introvert and a very low extrovert. Introversion might make a person be more within oneself, the person might not interact much and might like working alone as averse to working with a group. On the other hand an extrovert might be more of a people’s person. The extrovert might prefer working with a group. They would not be shy and would come forward with suggestions and opinions more easily. Since the extrovert is more open it also follows that the extrovert would also be more communicative. They might also possess good communication skills. Here the key to understanding is that a person who is an introvert need not necessarily have bad communication skills. Being on a moderate to moderate continuum would have placed me in a more balanced state, as such I believe being in the moderate to low continuum I believe that being a low extrovert might be a negative thing.
