The music autonomy has been an element of focus for several theoretical frameworks. Music autonomy belief however, can be found underlying the analysis of traditional music that aims at examining the relationship existing relationships inside music instead of the societal conceptions of music. As per Nicholas Cook, in analyzing musical Multimedia, attempts were made for re-examining the music notion alone along with responding to the requirements that according to him helped in perception of opening up the analysis of music towards contexts of multimedia.
