Due to the restricted access of the site there would be a problem in creating the architectural map for the building. Since outside walls are existing, so the inner construction will have to be done in a closed sphere, which may be problematic for the workers. Due to the restricted access there is also a problem of transferring of the good inside (Cole et al,1992). Carrying large sized steel plate will be a problem. Also, there isn’t perfect place for the storage of the steel as it is covered by the residents from all sides. Also the water available in the area is less. To avoid the problem related to closed sphere, we will be ensuring that the inner part of the building has proper lighting system so that the workers do not find a problem related to visibility. To carry the big plates and other good which can’t be carried through the small doors, we will be using the helicopter and the required material will be carried through the upper vent of the building.
Due to the existing walls floors and ceilings there will be a number of problems. The very first problem is related to the security of the workers. The walls of the building are not in a very good condition and it is expected that they may fall any time. Whenever the inner part will be reconstructed, the outer walls may fall due to the sudden pressure. While construction of the inner block the outside walls may fall and the entire building may come down. Moreover, the due to the construction there would be large amount of dust and other pollutants which the tenants can complain for the same. The existing ceiling will be broken so that the large blocks can be taken inside through the helicopters. Moreover, as per the initial plan the ceiling’s height needs to be higher. Thus, the entire ceiling will be broken. The existing floors would be repaired and a new bed of bricks and plaster would be done on the floors.
