IHL, when stated in the most articulated sense is also known as the Armed conflict law or the war law which is the authority providing rules that in the time of war help in protecting people who do not or are no more taking part in hostile acts and wish to limit the processes and warfare means while human suffering prevention with regard to armed conflict. The main IHL instrument lies in 4 ratified conventions of Geneva, 1949 and 3 extra protocols from 1977 and 2005 as they help in stipulating that civil people and wounded combatants should be treated in a moral way. “Jus ad bellum” is the term that refers to the lawful criteria set taken into considered prior to war engagement and “jus in bellow” is responsible for governing the manner in which conduction of warfare takes place, disregarding whether the reason for war is right or not.The aim here is humanizing war and protecting the civil people through creation of differences between what and who can be at the target when in conflict, the way in which the target execution can take place, allowed weapons and combatant forces rights and obligations.
