Safety management plan initially requires a pre-job risk assessment of site. It should cater all the actions, jobs and activities that will be part of entire construction project. Once all activities are list down, then the associated hazards should be discussed with a group of experts and managers that will lead this project to execution. All hazards should be identified, discussed and a relative mitigation strategy and precautions should be listed. This risk assessment activity will present a clear picture of the whole project and necessary actions to be taken.The construction site is a rectangular plot with two buildings on both sides and two access points via road. Project involves fifteen storey building and it will require a huge scaffolding structure that will extend the land premises and will occupy few of the portions on road. Two lane road points the heavy flow of traffic and care must be taken to safe not only the project assets and manpower but the people using the road.WorkSafe Act has been implemented by Government in 2013.

It demands safety of work on scaffolding, using ladders and working on roofs i-e fragile structures. Proper safety harness should be used by all people working on scaffoldings. Ladders should be inspected regularly. Plus whenever a task is issued to be done on certain scaffolding, its health should be checked and verified by experts and record should be kept by managers and a tag should be displayed with date and health certificated of scaffolding and ladder. A rescue person should be employed in case of working on fragile high structures. Fifteen storeys will involve multiple installations of scaffoldings and removal of scaffoldings as well. Proper checklist should be made to accomplish both tasks to make it safe for the labour. Material whose health is doubtful and or is in use for a longer period of time should be replaced. As it is stated that 25% of national work related fatalities result from height falls, proper signs should be displayed when person is on scaffolding to warn the people moving nearby about hazard of falling object (Loosemore et al., 2012).
