The pyramid of Egypt is one of the largest and biggest pyramids in the world. It is almost 455.5ft and all the four sides of the base are 755.9fts long. The total weight of the pyramid was estimated as 5.9million tons. As per this data, the amount of stones which the labors were required to carry on daily basis was about 800tons. The mortar which was used to join these heavy blocks of stone was believed to be stronger than the blocks itself. The chemical composition of the mortar is known to the scientists but due to some or the other reason it is very difficult to produce them again in modern days.
Inside the pyramid there are three chambers- the King’s Chamber, the Queen’s chamber and the Grand Gallery. All the three chambers have two channels with the help of which they were linked with the outside world. Also there are two channels of dimension 20cm*20cm which starts from the Queen’s chamber and ends at the stone doors. The main function of these channels is still a mystery for the researchers as well as the architects.
