There is various application of microwave and radar technology in the modern time in broadcasting system. The best application is RADAR system which uses microwave radio waves for object detecting. The radio waves in the RADAR are used for direction, altitude, range, and speed. The focus of this research is on microwave radio waves applications in RADAR system with experimental analysis using OPNET software so that link of microwave communication can be established. OPNET is used in this research to build a test of PDH SDH microwave radio systems. This research is divided mainly into introduction, objective, research methodology, literature review, laboratory experiment, results, analysis, conclusion and recommendations. Extensive researches have been done for the research topic to achieve the objective and aim of the research thesis. Theoretical analysis is validated with experimental analysis using OPNET software.
