Robots are fully automated machines which are beneficial for human being in risky spheres where humans cannot go but these fully automated machines pose threat to humanity (Arnall, 2003). So governments should take measures that the use of robots is limited to crucial areas and they should not be allowed to capture every area of human interests. Government policies on robotics should take into consideration its impact on the environment and guidelines should be framed for the manufacture of robots which will cause minimum harm to the environment as robots are just machines made up of various metals from which some are very harmful for the environment and in turn for the human beings. Government policies must make some way for robots to enter into the fields of accounting not for making calculations but for rechecking the data so that the authenticity and accuracy of the calculations made by the individuals can be crossed checked (Heyer, 2010). This cross checking will lead to more reliable data with the government of various files that are contributing to the national income and decide the economic growth of the country. Government policies should keep a close check in the use of robots in various fields but at the same time they should also make possible recommendations for the use of robotics so that the country should not lad behind in the use of latest technology. This technology will also be used in military forces which will lead to the safety of citizens of the country as many automated weapons are on war fronts and the day is not far when robots will fight in wars in place of human beings. This will surely save the lives of millions of soldiers.
Robotic is the future of human being so all individuals have to be prepared to work in an environment of advanced technology and with robots as working partners. Government policies should be designed in such a manner that they can make best use of the technology of tomorrow i.e. robotics. The use of robots in medical and research fields should be encouraged so that new and improved methods can be discovered within minimum time and cost. The robots were thought of not entering in the areas of creativity, critical thinking and judgments on various issues. We still have an edge over robots in creativity and innovations. After all robots are also a result of the innovation and creativity of human beings.
