Here we have seen how the Europeans which arrived in the year 1788 took advantage of the situation and the conditions of the native Australian population. Thus the invasion plus the diseases wiped out the large sections of the Australian population. Thus European people bought with them destruction, misery for the local people. They tried to capture the lands of the people and this process destroyed the local culture of the people as a large number of native population was wiped out. Thus with the invasion of the people from Europe the whole section of the Aborigines was wiped out. They became more dependent on the people from Europe. The history of the Aborigines was buried in the stores. Diseases like small pox proved to be fatal for the people as they lacked the resistance power nor had the expertise to create new medicines for such diseases. Later the discriminatory policies of the Australian government during the period of 1901 to 1960s were examined. They implemented very restricted act only to benefit individuals belonging to the Europe nationality and in mostly Britain. Different acts came into existence which were racial and did not give proper rights to the people belonging to Aborigines or people migrating from the other parts of the world. However as the time passed these Acts were repealed and the racial discrimination was encouraged to be removed. There were new laws formed which gave rights to the people belonging Aborigines.
