For the purpose of assessment strategy, an assessment based on criteria will be qualitatively assessed for the software as per the factors of usability, maintainability, and sustainability. This holds the tendency of informing decisions at higher level regarding the improvement of certain aspects in the system software. This will further present a scope of measuring quality from various aspects. As per the Software Engineering standard of ISO/IEC 9126-1, the key area considered for this assessment is Product Quality and will be consisting of maintainability, sustainability, and usability (Condori-Fernandez et al., 2009). In following this assessment strategy, the software will be checked if it is in conformance with several attributes or has been exhibiting several qualities being expected from the sustainability of software. With the satisfaction of more attributes, there will be increased sustainability of the software (Singh, 2006). In conducting the overall assessment, there is significance in considering how different classes of user will impact the value delivered by this assessment strategy.
As a significant example, for the purpose of understand ability and usability, a small combination of task oriented, accurate and well defined documentation of user can be identified as comprehensive for user groups. However, there might be some inadequacy among developers.The conduct of assessment as per classes of user will be allowing the requirement of factoring certain classes of user. Scoring can be impacted by the overall attributes of the selected system software. Learn ability appears to be envisaging the application to be designed appropriately, while offering help in sensitivity of context and as a consequence for ease in utilizing the requirement of tutorials. There can be application of portability to the system software, along with the infrastructure of its development (Felt et al., 2014). This will assist in the achievement of objectives set for the purpose of assessing the system software while being provided with the cost effective, operationally efficient and sustainable choice of system software.
