One of the ways is by mean of time management wherein one must focus on effectively using the time every day and at the same time must also focus on effectively using time over the long run. Setting tasks according to their urgency and priority tends to produce the desired results (Anderson and Pulich, 2010). There are several means in which the manager has to work either individually or in teams so as to manage the time effectively and to accomplish the goals set by the organization.
Another manner in which one could eliminate stress is by means of collaboration and emotional intelligence. It is true for a student wherein the performance of the student improves when he/she is in good terms with his/her classmates and professor; on the contrary, the performance is highly impacted when they are not in good terms with their peer. Stress is relived when people feel a part of a group or is accepted by someone. One of the powerful deterrent ways to encounter stress is the development of clan-like, collaborative relationships with others. In one of the study conducted in the past, the largest factor which accounted for the ability of the mangers to manage socially stressful events and handle personal stress was the emotional and social intelligence (Whetten, 2010). It is by the development of the emotional and social intelligence that one can eliminate encounter stressor.
In many cases, it has been seen that by redesigning work some people tend to eliminate the situational stressors. Lack of freedom in one of the study was regarded as the single most crucial factor which contributed to stress. Some of the ways in which work could be redesigned are: formation of identifiable work force, combination of tasks, and establishment of customer relationships. In all types of organizations, these practices are used widely(Lauren 2012). In common day practices, students or individuals also reward themselves for achievement of small task as a measure of relieving themselves of the stress and increasing their efficiency and their output. It is by this that one could eliminate the anticipatory stress as it focuses on establishment of direction and focus on the main target (Whetten, 2010).
